Five images of two Great Crested Flycatchers repeatedly harassing two, much larger Northern Flickers whose nest is in the same tree but some 10 meters below that of the Flycatchers. Each time, one of the Flickers would return to the nest, the Flycatchers would dive bomb it, sometimes alone and sometimes in tandem.
Top image: One of the Flickers entering the nest cavity.
A quick turn by one of the Flycatchers as the Flicker disappears into the nest cavity.
An other sharp turn . The Flicker can be faintly seen here in the back of the hole.
Taunting the Flicker.
Finally, the Flycatcher flies off after receiving an ear-full from the Flicker.
