About a week ago, I spotted my first Monarch in our flower garden planted especially for Butterflies and other pollen-loving insects. The next day I saw two Monarchs, then three and today there were seven feeding on the Zinnias most of the afternoon. This after having seen only one Monarch all summer. There were also a Red Admiral and a Painted Lady present yesterday and today.
