Taken through my kitchen window. I just came home and saw the Hawk sitting on my back fence eying some bushes were a bunch of Sparrows were hiding. I ran downstairs to get my camera, then carefully snuck up to the window and got off one shot before the Hawk looked my way and immediately flew off. Got a second shot of the take-off, as shown above.
I swear the Hawk heard the click of my camera right through the double glass window as the window was shut and only my head was visible above the window sill.
