A BERRY-PICKING Wood Duck.

This is the first time I've ever seen Wood Ducks picking/eating berries in shrubs. There were four or five in the bushes along the edge of the lake and road. As they couldn't paddle away, and since they didn't seem too disturbed by our presence, I was able to get quite a few shots. It wasn't until a large truck drove by that this one flew off.

Just amazing capture, Hank. I wonder how rare that behavior is. I have seen them land on bird feeders, but nothing like this.
