Three images of the GH Owl and its young.

Top image: Mom had been off the nest for awhile. On her return, she perched/laid down on the edge of the tree trunk to give some room to the Owlets. Here the one Owlet has its eye open and is looking our way, the same as Mom. I suspect that this is the older sibling.


I think that this is the youngest of the two Owlets.


The two whitish areas marked confirm that there are at least two young in the nest.
