This GHO was perched up quite high in a Spruce tree trying to get some shut-eye. It didn't seem to be overly concerned by the 7 to 8 photographers positioned below. It got a bit excited when some Crows came along to harass it for a short time. This gave us a good chance to get some good open eyes shots. It then went back to preening and sleeping and to my knowledge, it outlasted all the photographers. In any case, it was still there when I left several hours after it was first spotted.
