Another first (lifer) for me.

This is a very rare bird for our area. Reportedly one comes in occasionally, driven in by a storm front, however, they usually don't stay very long. This one on the other hand stayed for several days. After it had reportedly been sighted some of us spent hours looking for it. But to no avail. Then on Saturday morning a fellow Pbaser phoned me whilst I was in the midst of cleaning out my furnace room. He told me that the bird had been found and that he was looking at it. To my wife's consternation, I dropped everything, picked up my camera and I high-tailed it out to the park, some 10 minutes away. There it was happily feeding with about a half dozen photographers snapping away. It seemed to have no fear of humans. Thanks Wade. (BTW - I did finish the cleaning of the furnace room when I got back home)
