IMG_9697 by Bradley Nichol - SERIES - Hank & Phalarope.jpg

Ottawa River/Andrew Haydon Park

Now that I've completed my Newfoundland Gallery, I'm back to Recent Photos 2011.

Two images:

Top image: A self portrait taken by a fellow photographer. Note the little Red-necked Phalarope at my feet (see arrow). This little fella was very preoccupied with hunting for insects. This was a first for me and for many of the other photographers in Ottawa. The lone Phalarope stayed around for almost two weeks.

One of my shots of the little Red-necked Phalarope.
