I managed just two shots, 1/3 of a second apart, in this sequence. I took my first shot almost immediately as the Chickadee landed. In the second shot all I'm left with is the flying snow and the the tail end of the Chickadee.
Because of dark cloudy conditions, I decided to use my 105, f2.8 macro lens. I had not used this lens to shoot birds before; however, the Chickadees, being quite tame, allowed me to get quite close to them. Hence, I was able to get some sharp detailed shots.
