20100614 124 Squirrel SERIES .jpg

My Backyard

Two images:

Top image: An upset Squirrel on its way down a hydro pole gives me an angry look. I had just chased it away from my bird feeders. Note: part of my house, a rear patio and the sky are reflected in the Squirrel's eye. The part of the house shown is an addition I constructed back in 1976 - my first construction project.

A close-up of the top image. It appears that I hadn't figured out how to use a carpenter's level yet in 1976. Actually, the apparent distortion seems to be the fish-eye effect from the eye ball. Note: the bottom of one of my bird feeders is just visible near the top of the eye.
