Tullymonstrum gregarium, complete in 11 cm concretion. Francis Creek Shale, Pit 11, Peabody Coal Mine, Braidwood, Illinois.

Recently interpreted as a vertebrate on the stem lineage to lampreys: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/nature16992.html

However, the fold seen in this specimen seems entirely inconsistent with any structural support provided by a notochord.

Eye pigment is preserved on the left hand part.
