This is the area where we had 650 sq ft of lawn removed. THe path leads back into the pine trees (which used to be filled with buckthorn.) I filled it in with compost and mulch. I put some ground level water dishes down to see if water in this area would attract birds. It did, and so now we are going to have a pondless stream/waterfall installed here in time for spring migration!
