Second year plantings are doing well. This is common wildflower that blooms in early spring. It does well in the shade and is very attractive to hummingbirds, and especially helpful when they first arrive from migration. We have several planted all around the garden. Some purchased at Outback Nursery in Hastings and some ordered from Prairie Nursery in Wisconsin. It was very windy when I took this photo, hence the blur.
