It was a partly cloudy morning and we were photographing a blue heron on a nest up close to the road. The sun popped out for a few moments and I noticed the reflections with this beautiful, almost surreal light. So I pulled out the G10 and took a few wide angle shots. I really like the light against the darker cloud background. Notice the heron in the tree to the left, and a few birds perched around in other trees. This actually turned out to be one of my favorite shots of the trip.
