Percy Heath of the Modern Jazz Quartet.
Percy died 4/28/2005; one of the truly great jazz musicians of the 20th century.
Although he was most associated with the MJQ he also played with some of the most important musicians of his era
including Thelonius Monk, Charlie Parker and Charles Mingus.
