Walking is a near daily discipline for me. Unfortunately, life obligations prevent me from creating the serious photography (i.e. travel photography shooting people, places and things) I would love to. So, I decided to transform my walks into mini photo excursions. Now my walks have turned into some of the most exciting times I experience during the day. I am now obsessed with making sure I come back with at least one decent image per walk. Sometimes I get more!

I try to be as artistic as possible but the main objective is to record the visual "eye candy" catching my attention. I love my "walking camera", the Canon G10. (Update 6/22/10 - have switched to the Lumix GF1. It is even better than the G10 plus has interchangeable lenses.Update 8/2/11 - Finally, my X100 arrived. Getting used to it but I am loving it so far. Good, sharp images.) Its "limitations" force me to really focus on getting the shot I want. One camera, one lens, just like when I started photography! But then, sometimes I just can't resist the urge to have a DSLR in my hands thereby the various Nikons and other cameras you'll see noted. Special thanks to you, Harry Wade, for teaching me to see photographically all those years ago.
