"We cleared and marked the trail today. I'd like to thank Mel Preedy, who had the biggest saw and did tons of work, Dave Brown who carried my saw and did lots of work, Scott Jurek, master weed wacker, Leah and her father (Peter), Glenn Tachiyama who brought 2 women friends (Kate & Margot Knight) and delicious cookies for all, Lynn with her ornament and ribbon collection, Karen King with clippers, a good throwing arm, and a tray of fudge. Lary Webster was out with his chainsaw. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone who was there today. In case I did, I am getting old, you know. I'm expecting my first grandchild next Saturday.
