Hello! I very much recognize the San Toy, OH covered bridge my dad, Jim Weiner, played on when a young boy. He was raised on that farm right there; the white house where he was born [1915],stands today. There are drawings & initials on the inside of the bridge carved by his brothers when children in the 1920-30's. I am so intrigued by the history of San Toy. My Mother, Doris Skeens Weiner, also grew up there [Portersville] & remembers San Toy's jail full every Saturday night--just like a western towns that you see in the movies! Well, enough about San Toy. Truly enjoyed your flicks. Linda Weiner Bennett

Your email address was given me by Nicole Knowlton of Columbus, who said the Knowlton bridge in Monroe County was built by a member of her family-grandfather, I believe. She visited my home, and saw many, many covered bridge pictures and books, including the one I wrote for the Fairfield Heritage Association in 1996, "Covered Bridges of Fairfield Copunty' Never got around to Monroe County although I started visiting and photographing Ohio's bridges in 1948, after I returned from WWLL. Will revisit your online galleries in the future. Your photography is top notch. John W. Klages, 2630 Sherwood Rd. Columb us, OH 43209

Hi Greg! Google is a fabulous thing, I was so excited to come across your webpage... I remember talking digital cameras with you at AmeriSouce in my old life. I'm so glad that you are getting out there and enjoying life and photography. Now that I live in Philadelphia, PA, looking at your wonderful photography has made me very nostalgic for my home state. All the best to you and your family! Cheryl Sams O'Neill

I took my Mom on a visit back to her hometown of Lancaster for her 78th birthday in 2003.
After visiting the farm (or what's left of it) of an Uncle, she wanted to drive by the Rock Mill bridge she remembered. She was surprised to see that it was gone. So I had no reference of what it looked like. I'm gathering that it was torn down and now has been reconstructed as part of a park. Very nice photographs, thanks for putting them out on the internet! - Jack (orig. from Toledo!) in Fort Lauderdale

Greg - Nice photos! I was happy to find a fellow "barn freak". Love your barn pictures. I just started my barn gallery last month and am having fun finding great old barns in SD - Minn. Good job! Lynne Williams http://www.pbase.com/lynne_williams)

Greg, it was so great seeing you guys the other day, Dee ask me if I'd seen your gallerie site the you and Wayne had sent us, dah...no.... Hadn't seen it as of last night when checking emails, or just didn't click on the OLD brain that it was from you guys. They are awesome pics and galleries. You both should be very happy with your picture taking. But we already knew this from the pics you took of Karrie and Adam's wedding. They even made the comment that your's were better then the ones they paid for, and I would agree, they were great, we still have them on one of the hard drives on the computer. Well got to go..........cya later........God Bless.........Ted he girls will have to gget a time we can do something together............bye

Mr. Hamilton,

You did well! I'm not sure if you are an STF member www.dpreview.com>forums>sony. Expect a lot of hits on your Alaska Cruise album as I provided a link to it in dpreview. I am an ex-Seattle Resident currently living in Denver. As such, I am very familiar with Vancouver and portions of the Inside Passage as well as Juneau. I enjoyed the shots under the "Lion's Gate" and of the cruise ships in the various harbors, fjords and inlets. I didn't realize that the Vancouver airport on Sea Island had been remodeled or replaced again. Keep on shooting and Thank's Again for sharing! Mike PS: The current generation of cruise ships are certainly much more oppulent than the "Fair Princess" (aka:FairSea)
