The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Baclayon, is the oldest stone church in the Philippines, Baclayon church was built by the Jesuits in 1595.
I have heard from a good source that the locals also believe that the prayerful wish made there has a high chance of coming true... in fact i was told by my fiancee that 6 months prior to our going to bohol and Baclayon, that she had prayed in this chapel that she will find the man that HE has in store for her... and sure enough when we arrived, the next time she came to this place, her prayer was for thanks of delivering that man, as we had become engaged to be married as soon as immigrations processes her Fiancee Visa.
