This is one of the parents of the famed Baby Blue Jay nest. This parent attacked me numerous times today, most likely because it saw what happened to one of its children earlier (I didn't find the dead baby until after this shot).

I actually hand-held this quick shot with the monopod still attached. I was searching for the baby that was flittering around on the ground when I noticed I had a good shot at the parent. I started keeping my eyes on the parents after getting attacked three times inside of 3 minutes.
