I went back to the Great Bay Wildlife Refuge and noticed a dramatic change. I have been popping out here every once in a while since winter. With the leaves on the trees, the woods seem much more woods-like. It had dried up a lot too, all the wet areas are now dry. It seems odd to be walking over wooden bridges that are surrounded by dry areas now.
Along the path there were a ton of ferns that had some sunlight. I lucked out on these, they were growing on a slight hill along the side of the path so I didn't have to get too low to the ground for this particular shot. There was a large pine tree in the back that made for a nice dark background too.
