The Baron Of Beaujour Born Louis Auguste Feris in the year 1765 was the elder son of Francois Feris and Anne Graud.
He wrote the book Outline of the United States at the beginning of the 19th century.
Feris obtains the title baron by Louis XVIII.
He was elected deputy of Marseille in 1831.
In July 1836 after being promoted officer of the Legon of Honour he dies in Paris without leaving any children and takes to the grave the meaning of why he took the name Beaujour!
This is another one of the tallest monuments in the cemetery.
