The Columbia River Gorge is a geological marvel... a spectacular river canyon cutting the only sea-level route through the Cascade Mountain Range. It is 80 miles long and up to 4000 feet deep, and divides the states of Oregon and Washington.
In my humble opinion, it is every bit as scenic than the far-more-heralded Grand Canyon. Perhaps I feel that way because I prefer green to brown... in any event, please enjoy these photos and draw your own conclusions.
Beautiful pictures! NW is so gorgeous and you are able to capture it for all of us. Thank you. I will come back to check out more of them; as well as, your website.
