It doesn't have to be very old to be considered historic around here. Local historical (the merchants on the square call it the hysterical) commission is moving it from the square to a county park which is just across the only southbound bridge over the river. The guy on the cherry picker is lifting phone and TV cable lines by hand as the house goes under.
Being followed by a 30+ year old El Camino was pure chance. I have a later picture with an eclectic set of vehicles stuck behind, but you can't read the hand painted sign.
