Thanks, Gray. They have been quit scares around here, in recent years, and I count myself lucky to have spotted them in this alfalfa field...

Hi Gray (aka yer tis my andsome), your stuff on here is of real high quality. I'm also pleased to finally have actually met a PBaser in the field! I look forward to seeing more of your pics on here and hope to have another catch up soon. All the best mate, regards Dave.

Stunning photography Grey. I am not into birds, but I enjoyed your images a great deal.

Hi Gray, Thanks for visiting and leaving a favourable comment.
On a quick visit to your galleries I was impressed by many of your bird shots. Although on your profile page you claim not to take photography too seriously, the evidence shows great skill, especially with well-focused shots at 600 mm. Nice work. Comments on images follow.

I'm really looking forward too using my new Nest NT-530 H Gimbal Head. I'm quite impressed at the smoothness of this head and it' craftsmanship....

Dear Gray,
You may or may not remember we met a few weeks ago on the edge of a flooded field full of Curlews near Powderham, and you were very forthcoming with hints and tips which I greatly appreciated. My name is Angela and I was with my partner Gary. We talked about monopods versus tripods and NeatImage amongst other things. I have looked at your images on both PBase and Ipernity and they are very impressive. I hope I can achieve similar quality captures one day. I wonder if I might ask you for some more specific advice about a head for my monopod, I hope you don't mind. What is the head you were using that day and why did you chose that one in particular? I have been looking at the different types and I have seen quite a few recommendations for the Manfrotto 393 gimbal head - are you familiar with this one? I want to get a gimbal head soon but do not want to make a mistake so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I hope to hear from you.
Best wishes from Angela PS. My images are on Flickr and my page name is Angel Frames (corny I know!!) If you had a moment to take a look and pass comment it would be great but I guess you get a lot of people ask you that so it's OK if you don't.
