Spider Rock Pano II

Canyon de Chelly, Arizona

One of three photos posted today of Spider Rock in the Canyon de Chelly. Each of these pictures is a pano of five to seven photos merged in Photoshop because of the the immensity of this landscape. The yellow cottonwoods are each fifty to eighty feet tall, Spider Rock is an eight hundred foot spire.

Wow Gayle, this is really impressive. The blue ribbon of water and the vivid cottonwoods are extremely nice elements in the overall composition. Marvelous job in capturing this breath taking view. Vote.

Thanks for your notes. Otherwise, it is hard to get an idea of the immensity of this spectacular view. Very nice light and colour.

There's been a bit of geological activity around these parts.

I have no idea of the size of the stack or the trees!
