Have been busy of late. Up in Toronto over Victoria Day weekend for a 4 day family visit. Not many opportunities to all get together due to the distances. Lots of good food.

There are still a couple of great gray owls around. One reported in Lanark County last week. Found the location and perch shown in the photo accompanying the report. Went to check out the Loggerhead Shrike report (know the exact location but no bird but could just be bad timing). Some of the trees by the road have those long sharp thorns. Checking out the habitat.
