I was driving along just like the car pictured above when I spotted a fox trotting along with a large object in its mouth. Pulled over to the side of the road to photograph it, mainly to document the moment and indentify the prey. The fox did turn sideways at one point and I could see, in another photo, that it was a large duck perhaps a mallard or black duck.

What I really wanted to do was drive back and photograph it from the front but by then the fox had headed left into the field of tall grass. If not for the tall grass I might have tried to see where the den was.
