golf related {2002 Par3 - 142 yds - 6 iron - Hole-in-One}

I've played this game for over a decade and finally managed the elusive Hole-in-1 in 2002 at the Falcon Ridge course in Ottawa. 6-iron on a 142 yard par 3. Sweet is all I can say.

Congratulations on the ace! -and welcome to the club. My wife and I have been enjoying golf - as much for the social side, as the game itself - for nearly 25 years. You may care to see a few images of our course down-under in my gallery: "Golf - when all else fails, enjoy the view!"

A belated congratulation! I have played for 40 years, almost everyday since I retired 10 years ago. never been close to a hole in one myself, but I have witnessed three of them. they are awsome!!
Maybe tomorrow will be my day!

Thanks James. I never did save the ball I aced the hole with. It sort of got mixed up with all the other balls in the bag and at the rate I lose them it was gone before I knew what happened to it. You have me beat by a good 15 years of golfing experience and I am nowhere near a 7 handicap. I wonder what age Tiger started playing? When I started this PBase site it was with the intention of posting a lot of golfing pictures but as I found out very quickly, it's hard to take pictures and play golf at the same time :)

Congratulations on the hole-in-one. I've played golf for 30 years (since I was 5) and had my handicap down to a 7 at one point but I've never had one. I guess on the bright side I haven't had to buy everyone in the clubhouse a drink :). Congrats on the hole-in-one and the nice pics.
