Gypsy Lou DeWitt lived in this tent in 1951 while in Basic Training. You can see the permanent open bay two story barracks in the background where I and my High School buddy Donny Ryan took Basic in 1954. Lou eventually went through cadet training and became a Gypsy Pilot.
