Exploring North Shore of Oahu
(collage from several trips, mostly 5.Oct.2002, Jan.2006. Aug.2009)
Assuming that you are in Waikiki/Honolulu, take the highway H1 toward east, which eventually will become Kalaniana'ole Highway, leading you on a wonderful drive along Oahu's East and North Shore. You can follow the road all way toward Hale`iwa, or return to Waikiki/Honolulu using the Pali Highway (Route 61) or the Likelike Highway (Route 63). You will spend one of the most pleasant days on Oahu and see much of the natural beauty of this Island! Several attractions along the road are in separate galleries: i) Magnum P.I. filming location in Waimanalo ii) Kim Taylor Reece Gallery in Hau`ula iii) Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie |
