Hawai`i, the "Big Island" The largest, the most diverse of the Hawaiian Islands. Still growing in size. Rich in historic places of interest and current volcanic spectacles. Compared to the overpriced and overstated Maui, real estate on this Island somehow is not taking off into bizarre dimensions. Maybe the ever lasting danger of unpredictable volcanic eruptions, or of yet another Tsunami keeps the speculators out of this Islands. Locals are surely happy about this. They live here in what they call "more natural" way, as it once was on all Hawaiian Islands. |
