That is the lens, don't know WHY I thought I needed it. A gal on pBase shoots entirely with it and she gets some stunning shots. I had it on a Wimberly head, on a skimmer pod, set up on a board across the kitchen sink. So I was shooting from the kitchen window.
Nice shot Gail. I see in the camera data a 400mm focal length. Is that the 400mm f5.6 non IS that everybody says is a great birding lens? Handheld or tripod? ~ DocG
