Frequently the confluence and the mouth of great rivers make the most interesting photographic subjects, as is the case here. The grazing light in the foreground highlight the grasses there in a favorable way.

in reference to Juan's (carabias) post..it is possible to find this spot on google earth by searching it with the words 'Lytton, BC, Canada'...GEarth has good images of this location, also showing the two colours of the rivers at this point...further south the Fraser absorbs the Thompson, and the water becomes all brown again
