naive

the recent riverside adventure was motivated by a naďve hope that I could catch a passing tugboat with only lights showing through the fog...that might well have provided a spectral image...alas, the river, here to the right side, was so socked in that no boats were venturing along it this day

in response to Jim...temps here are a bit above freezing, although not by much

Lovely photo nevertheless, David. Like the path curving out of sight, the fence line and the rocky riverbank very much. Well done. Vote.

Fantastic mood. I like how the fog obscured the path. V

At least you got a nice, moody shot of the path.

It is amazing how much fog you get this time of year.. What is your temperature there now?
This is a very nice image even without the tug boat.
Neil Marcus14-Dec-2017 00:47
That tug would have been great. At least you thought about its effect.
Helen Betts14-Dec-2017 00:43
Sounds like it would have made for an interesting image, but this is excellent as well and clearly shows how socked in the river really was.

No boat needed. This is a fine image with a foggy mood.
