blues

it is difficult to feel sympathy for total strangers, yet such was the case here...chatted briefly with the owner of this small car, all the while noticing his understandably envious glances at my 1996 VW Jetta...the poor fellow was stuck with a 2018 Ferrari 488, which he said had cost him a bit more than CAN$ 400,000.. little doubt he would have preferred my car, yet I was not prepared to swap...he had a mere 660HP, compared to my mighty 115...besides, a Ferrari should be red, and have a bigger trunk

Red Ferrari is too cliché. I'm enjoying this deep blue. I would have asked for a test drive at the very least. V

It might be time to reconsider! :)

Ya, it does look a little puny next to your mighty VW, but people have to just do with what they have! V

Some people would quite one of those Italian things, but it would have to be yellow for me!

Think you have saved on insurance costs as well!

Where is the trailer hitch?

Such a poor guy... and he has to use the same streets we do ... ! V

Great capture! V!

Well someone has to buy these things... Funny thing about cars… they all look the same naked - 4 tires bolted to a chassis. This car cost 1,334 times more than what I paid for my first set of wheels. A red 57 GMC puck-up truck off a farm, top speed somewhere around 60 MPH - I miss that truck! ;-)

Cool car you wouldn't want to park on the street !!! I understand blue cars now come with eyelashes - maybe this was his wife's choice ?? :) (I'd go with your VW :) better still a Subaru AWD which gets me up our driveway :)

You made the right choice. Hold out for red one.

Slick!

Poor guy!
Charlene Ambrose15-Nov-2017 01:49
LOL! I agree that it should be red. :-)
Helen Betts15-Nov-2017 01:03
Great capture of this sharp looking car, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to trade...
Carol E Sandgren15-Nov-2017 00:02
I would be afraid to park it on the street for fear it would get dinged, or worse, stolen! I too would be better off with your Jetta! In fact I had one of those some years back. Good car although not as fancy or fast as the Ferrari! Nice shot of this pricey gem!
Walter Otto Koenig14-Nov-2017 23:35
We all know there can only be one Nikonmobile, and this Ferrari is not it.
Kim14-Nov-2017 23:29
Nice car!! And nicely captured! V
Neil Marcus14-Nov-2017 23:23
If you had been a decent sort you would have traded. Where is your empathy for the Jetta starved man!
Jim Coffman14-Nov-2017 23:18
Wise choice David!! LOL!! WOW!!!
Dan Greenberg14-Nov-2017 23:12
PS - I'm sure your Jetta gets better gas mileage. :)

I love it in blue! That would be a great one to pose and take pictures of. Surprised he had it out on such a rainy day. Great shot of it. ~V~
