along hwy 97, N. of Ellensburg, WA

although this trip was planned for a visit to The Palouse, and a subsequent eclipse adventure in Oregon, the route southwards also included rewarding landscapes...in southeastern Washington there is a lot of farmland once you veer off the interstate highway and get onto country roads
