the post-harvest fields seemed well manicured (although some higher level lands were left to more natural growth) in the Palouse, yet could not help but wonder if Spring would be a better time to visit...then growing crops would coat the hilly terrain in green waves, and the skies could well be stormier

this scene was encountered on yet another country road, Idaho 6 or Washington 272, depending on where you join the interstate route
