after a trip to the east side, one route home would pass by Chinatown..here a cluster of city blocks houses a dense array of stores run by and for the local Chinese community...it's always buzzing in this area, although my only purchases (olives and Calabrese sausage) were at one of the oldest Italian delicatessens in the city, oddly located amid the oriental markets
