city lights

it can be an adventure to tramp about in the dark shooting the city lights, and with Sam in town there is a plan to search out a night-time skyline vista on Friday or Saturday...wouldn't you know it though, the rains have returned, making any plan tentative at the moment..if we do pull that off, it would be at a completely different location, offering cross-harbour views, and not here in the relative calm of False Creek

Sadly the weather often refuses to co-operate but you've got a great shot here. V

Great night shot David. the weather has also delayed my impending Rockies trip with the Bow River floods so looks like back to the drawing board for both of us. Love all the reflections you have captured....

At the risk of being the Grinch, I would prefer pictures of this sort taken while the sky still has a bit of dark blue in it so you see more silhouettes than a jumble of light spots.

Beautiful nocturne capture, David. I like the low light and reflections in this isolation from the rest of the larger False Creek setting. No worries about the weather --- we will find a way to turn that to our advantage (says the man that led the retreat from Bandon).
