Trout Lake, Washington

ironically, with a return to inland warmth, we soon delved into the earth at the ice caves west of Trout Lake...just a few feet below the surface cold air had become trapped in an ancient lava tube originating on Mt Adams..it was slippery down here, and a real photo-challenge

Cool capture, no pun intended, David. I remember how refreshing it was to enter the cave, and how stifling the heat seemed as we exited. Nice job on the exposure.
