splotchy

the splotchy light here is the result of an accident..the shutter was tripped before the settings were decided upon..in the end this is an under-exposed nightshot...yet it seems to point the way towards a different approach,...perhaps the reality of a scene can occasionally be ignored, and the impression of a scene given a bit more weight...it's either that, or pay more attention to current conditions..

Sometimes impressions of a scene are more interesting! This worked well, your "accidental" shot. V

One photo under exposed photo is a mistake, ten under exposed photos an experimentation, one hundred under exposed photos a style.

I think it's quite striking with the lights seemingly floating in air. This might be a direction worth exploring.

I think it makes an excellent abstract with the lights arranged as if it were done deliberately. I'm glad you went with it.

A true impressionist! I like that it makes you look a little harder :0)
