perhaps the best known of the Ancient Puebloan sites at Mesa Verde, Cliff Palace (late 13th century) is also the largest cliff dwelling in North America...tours led by park rangers allow visits, although our group had to wait a bit while the previous group dawdled their way through...waiting was OK though, as it allowed time for a few photos
