the stage at the Kitsilano Showboat has hosted events since 1935, largely musical ones too...arriving rather late on Canada Day, I learned I had missed the birthday cake, and also someone called Whistles the Clown...blew it there...still a local swing band was about to perform, and as it turned out they were quite good
