Becher Bay

there is often a hesitant moment before plunging into cool water on a hot day...this is Becher Bay, in East Sooke, located west of Victoria on Vancouver Island's south coast...in the background are the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula, in Washington State

Once you're in the water though . . . this truly
is a lovely scene. I would rather take pics of it
than swim in it. :) V.

Wow ~ to think that you can see Washington; yet I know that Victoria is along the same line as the US! Beautiful shot David! V

Lol! Takes me about ten minutes to get into the water. My kids give me a rough time over it. Perhaps these people are so awed by the scenery they just want to look.

Wonderful image, somewhat eerie, the very blueness of it, and the little figures, so tiny and tentative in the vastness of ripples that reach different levels of their separate figures. You guide the viewer with "hesitant." How would the image change if its title were "Baptismal"? Just asking.
