Jericho Beach Park

a break in the weather, however brief, is welcome relief these days...the ongoing rainy conditions have caused flooding and landslides around the province...yesterday the Trans-Canada Highway east of Vancouver, and nearby train tracks, were all blocked by a massive slide of mud and rock

A pretty spot for the the hikers to rest. Sorry to hear about the mud slide, I hope it is cleared up quickly. V

You have made good use of the respite! I recall that wet years tend to flip flop between the SW and NW, and they are certainly having abnormally dry weather in the SW this year.

Wish that rain would head down south here and all the way from CA to FL. We need it so badly....fires everywhere.

A lovely vista indeed, David and the carpet of clover is
beautiful. Vancouver is a favourite destination for us.
Yes, the film of the slide yesterday is mind-boggling. V.
