photo etiquette

Maple Tree Square, Gastown, Vancouver

this shot was just framed up when along came this chic looking photographer, and planted her tripod right in front of the camera...at first I was a bit miffed at her apparent lack of photo etiquette, but then realized she added some presence to the scene

Nikon D90

A lovely scene in which the photog even adds something to the composition. Perhaps you should have dialed the flash up high and given her a shot or two. V

Yes, her lack of manners was your gain, as has been said. V.

Yes, she does... but it would have been a fabulous shot without her too. v

I like that you included her and took advantage of it but that is still very rude to do that to someone who is set up. I always try to not get in another photographer's way. Love the shot and she is absolutely oblivious to you, evidently. Now, she's on the internet! hehe. Excellent work on this!

The trees are particularly beautiful and the elegant snapper just adds to the scene. V

Lovely constellation of Christmas lights and nice reflections in the pavement. I like the one about a tripod owner. V

the scene without her elegant presence, wouldn't have the same charm ;-) V

Great night shot with the tripod owner completely oblivious to you and your shot. v
