change of plans

the morning commute came to an abrupt end yesterday when another driver made an impulsive, ill-timed dash across this intersection...the Jetta was first hit on the front left fender, and then re-directed into this lamp-post...luckily all escaped relatively unharmed, although my neck feels a bit sore this morning...with structural damage and the cost of repairing the airbags, this reliable car may now be a write-off...in any case photo-expeditions will be limited for a while..

Not the sort of thing one wants to meet with. And these things happen in a blink of the eye.

I just had a fender bender an intersection when the other driver did not see me and turned into my lane. I just could not react quick enough to get out of her way. I now see daily driving differently. Good luck with the red tape and neck.

I'm very sorry to see this David. The most important thing is that you are all right. Hopefully the insurance will take care of everything.
