 Police on Bike I just HAD to take this picture. I don't think he even had a weapon to defend himself, although I seriously doubt he would ever need it. Notice the white gloves and nearly all of the police wore them! |

 Children at Kotokuin Diabutsu (Great Buddha), Kamakura These children were too cute for words. They couldn't have been any older than 4 or 5. They were absolutely filthy from the rain and the mud they'd obviously been delighting in prior to the Buddha visit. The caregivers didn't seem to be one bit concerned at the state of these children's clothing. They laughed and played and had the best time. I had the best time just watching them being children. |
