I decided to make this a short strictly diving vacation this time.

New as of November 2010, WestJet started flying direct from Toronto to Nassau in the Bahamas. I’ve been to the Bahamas on two prior occasions, once back in 1988 at a land-based resort, and again in 1997 on a live aboard (that has since gone out of business).

I found another live-aboard operation with the 102’ Aqua Cat . The price of the boat was in the same price range of other Caribbean Live-Aboard boats, but the airfare was roughly half. OK, decision made, so I booked the trip for November 6.
